Your Local Private Dentist Practice | Leading Innovation and Care

Envisage Dental is a group of local dental practices working to shared national standards. With more than 80 clinics across England and plans to continue growing into 2026, we are proud to be a B Corp certified organisation. Together, Envisage practices support hundreds of thousands of patients each year, helping people stay free from pain, regain confidence in their smile, and access high-quality dental care close to home.

Shenstone Private Dental Care – Local Practice, Unrivalled Standards

Each Envisage practice is led by clinicians who know their local community. That means care is personal, not rushed, and tailored to the individual sitting in the chair. At the same time, Envisage provides group-level governance, training and clinical standards so that every patient benefits from consistent, high-quality systems behind the scenes.

This balance of local autonomy and national oversight allows practices to focus on long-term oral health, ethical decision-making and patient wellbeing, you can book an appointment online using our form. You can see more about Envisage's approach and updates on their LinkedIn page.

Why choose an Envisage dental practice?

People choose Envisage practices because they want more control over their dental care. That might mean being able to book appointments sooner, having more time to talk through options, or accessing treatments that focus on long-term outcomes rather than quick solutions.

  • Flexible appointment availability
  • Longer consultations when needed
  • A wider range of treatment options
  • Monthly dental plans for routine care
  • Clear communication and realistic expectations

The emphasis is always on choice, transparency and care that fits around your life.

Common questions about seeing a dentist for fast treatment

Many people don't search for a type of dentist. Instead, they ask practical questions about access, speed and cost. Here are some of the questions we're asked most often.

How quickly can I see a private dentist?
In many cases, appointments are available within a few days, and urgent problems such as pain, infection or a broken tooth can often be seen on the same day or the next working day.

How can I pay to see a dentist sooner?
You can usually choose between paying per visit, joining a monthly dental plan, or arranging finance for larger treatments. This flexibility allows you to book appointments without long waiting times.

How much does a dentist charge for a filling?
The cost depends on the size of the filling and the materials used. Simple fillings are generally straightforward, while more complex restorations may cost more. A clear estimate is always provided before treatment.

I have a dental emergency – how soon can I be seen?
If you're in pain or have an urgent issue, clinics will prioritise emergency appointments. Where specialist input is needed, a clear pathway is arranged quickly so you're seen by the right clinician.

Paying for dental treatment – options to suit your budget

If you're thinking about cost and planning ahead, here are the main options we offer:

Pay-as-you-go dental care

This option is simple and flexible. You pay for each appointment or treatment as it happens, such as check-ups, hygiene visits or fillings. It suits people who prefer to pay per visit without ongoing commitments.

Monthly dental plans

Monthly plans are designed to spread the cost of routine care. They usually include regular check-ups and hygiene appointments, and may offer discounts on additional treatments. For many people, this is an easy way to budget for ongoing oral health.

Treatment finance

For more extensive work, such as dental implants or full-arch treatment, finance options may be available. These allow you to spread the cost over an agreed period, with fixed monthly payments. Before proceeding, you'll receive a clear written plan showing the total cost, repayment amounts and any applicable terms.

  • Short-term finance for smaller treatment plans
  • Longer repayment options for complex or advanced care
  • Transparent costs agreed in advance

Advanced dental treatments with long-term outcomes

Some dental solutions are designed to last for many years. Treatments such as dental implants, implant-retained dentures and full-arch options focus on stability, comfort and ease of maintenance. These approaches are often chosen by people looking for a permanent alternative to removable dentures or repeated repairs.

Advanced treatments usually involve careful planning, staged appointments and follow-up care to ensure the best possible outcome.

Supporting complex and specialist dental needs

Certain cases require specialist input or a multidisciplinary approach. Envisage practices support complex dental needs by coordinating care between clinicians, whether that involves surgical expertise, periodontal treatment or sedation for anxious patients.

Referrals from other dentists are managed with clear communication and structured treatment plans, ensuring continuity and safety throughout the process.

Preventative care, confidence and lifelong oral health

Preventative dentistry plays a key role in long-term oral health. Regular hygiene appointments, gum care and early intervention help reduce the need for more extensive treatment later on. Patients who prioritise prevention often enjoy better comfort, confidence and function as they age.

Dentistry built on trust, transparency and patient experience

Trust is built through honest conversations and clear information. Patients are given realistic treatment options, transparent fees and the time needed to make informed decisions. Feedback and patient experience matter, and you can read independent reviews here.

More information on treatments such as dental implants, veneers and gum health is available on our website.

Shenstone Dental Centre was taken over in 2005, by Dr Paul Carroll and Dr Andrew Nesbitt. Since then, the practice has grown into a trusted pillar of the Lichfield community, known for clinical excellence and patient-centred care.

In April 2024, Shenstone Dental joined Envisage Dental UK Limited, aligning with a group that shares the same commitment to exceptional standards and ethical practice. Envisage's scale and B Corp status make it a pioneering leader in the dental industry. It is the only B Corp certified nationwide dental group in the UK. When it received B Corp certification, it solidified the founders' vision of "setting the gold standard" in dentistry.

Uniqueness in the Market: While a few individual dental practices have also become B Corps, Envisage is by far the largest B Corp dental provider in the region, setting it apart from small single-practice companies. Envisage's approximately 80 clinics far exceed any other B Corp dental entities in the UK or Europe.

As a registered dental practice in England, Shenstone Dental Centre is regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), which was formally registered on 18 April 2024 following the Envisage acquisition. The CQC is the independent regulator of health and social care services, responsible for inspecting, monitoring, and rating dental practices to ensure they meet fundamental safety and quality standards across five key areas: Safe, Effective, Caring, Responsive, and Well-led.

The April 2024 CQC registration marks Shenstone Dental Centre's legal authorisation to operate under Envisage's ownership, demonstrating the practice's commitment to maintaining the highest regulatory standards while continuing to serve the Lichfield community with the same trusted care established since 2005.
